Who we are

Niyati Games (“Niyati Games”, “we”, “us”) is an independent studio from India that makes mobile games and runs this website, niyatigames.com.

If you have any question about this policy or your data, write to support@niyatigames.com.

What this policy covers

This policy applies to this website and to every game published by Niyati Games, including on Google Play under the developer name “Niyati Games”.

No games have been released yet. Before each game launches, we will list it here by its store name.

The short version

  • This website uses no cookies, no analytics and no trackers, and has no forms. Game scores and trophies stay on your device.
  • Some third-party services built into our games may collect device information, as described in Our games.
  • We do not sell your personal data.
  • You can ask us to access, correct or delete your data at any time by emailing support@niyatigames.com.

This website

niyatigames.com does not use cookies, analytics, advertising or tracking scripts, and it has no forms. It does not load anything from other websites.

Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, Inc., processes technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request, so that it can deliver the site and protect it from abuse. See the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.

The site has a small game and trophies for fun. Your best score, the trophies you unlock, which of our pages you’ve visited (for the “Explorer” trophy) and your sound setting are saved only in your browser’s local storage on your device. They are never sent to us, and clearing your browser data removes them.

The music player plays a song from this website’s own server. Your player settings (volume, whether the music is paused and where in the song you were) are saved only in your browser’s storage on your device.

Our games

Information you give us

If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include, for example your device model or a screenshot. We use it only to reply and to help you.

Accounts

If a game lets you create an account or sign in, we store an account identifier, the sign-in details you choose to share with us (for example an email address, if you use one) and your game data, so we can save your progress and restore it on another device.

You can ask us to delete your account and its data at any time; see Account deletion.

Purchases

In-app purchases are processed by Google Play or the Apple App Store. We never receive your card or payment details. We receive a record of the purchase (which item, when, and an order number) so that we can deliver it and handle refunds.

How we use information

  • to run our games and deliver what you’ve bought;
  • to understand how our games are played and to fix crashes and bugs;
  • to show ads, measure them, and prevent ad fraud;
  • to answer your emails and support requests;
  • to keep our games and this website secure and to prevent abuse;
  • to comply with the law.

Where the law requires a legal basis (for example in the EU and UK), we rely on your consent (for example for personalised ads), on our legitimate interest in running and improving our games, on performing our contract with you, or on a legal obligation.

Advertising and your choices

Ads in our games are served by the advertising services listed above. Where the law requires it, we ask for your consent before personalised ads are shown, and you can change that choice at any time. Without consent you may still see ads, but they are not personalised.

  • Android: you can delete or reset your advertising ID in your device settings (Settings › Security & privacy › Privacy › Ads, depending on your device).
  • iPhone and iPad: you can stop apps from asking to track you in Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for money. We only share it:

  • with the service providers listed in this policy, who process it to provide their services;
  • with Google Play or the Apple App Store, which handle downloads and payments;
  • when the law requires it, or to protect the rights, property or safety of our players, ourselves or others;
  • with a buyer or successor if our studio or games are ever transferred, who must honour this policy.

Retention and deletion

We keep emails and support messages only as long as we need them to answer you and keep a record of the conversation, and then delete them. Third-party services keep the data they collect for the periods set out in their own policies (for example, Firebase Crashlytics keeps crash reports for 90 days).

To ask us to delete your data, email support@niyatigames.com with the name of the game. We will delete what we hold and ask our service providers to do the same, unless we must keep something to comply with the law.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • know what personal data we hold about you and get a copy;
  • have it corrected or completed;
  • have it deleted;
  • withdraw your consent at any time, as easily as you gave it;
  • object to or restrict some processing;
  • nominate someone to act for you, and raise a grievance with us.

To use any of these rights, email support@niyatigames.com. We reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the data protection authority where you live (in India, the Data Protection Board of India once it is operational; in the EU or UK, your local supervisory authority).

Children

Each game’s age rating and intended audience are shown on its store page. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under 18 in India) without the consent the law requires.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has given us personal information, contact support@niyatigames.com and we will delete it and ask our service providers to do the same.

Security

We protect the information we hold with reasonable safeguards. This website is only served over encrypted HTTPS with strict security headers, and we limit who can access any data we hold. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

International transfers

We are based in India. Our service providers may process data in other countries, including the United States. Where required, they use recognised safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses, to protect it.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. If the change is significant, we will also tell you in our games or on this website.
